The tech giant has accidently given away another indication about the name of the new iPhone 5 with just an hour left before the announcement that is made in San Francisco. A link has been posted on the Apple’s own Web site which clears the air that the sixth generation iPhone will be called iphone 5. The link is, though, inactive at present and is not working.

By typing in “iPhone 5” in the search box of the company’s Web site, a listing is shown in the search results that are prepared for today’s event. The address of the page shows the title “Apple-Introduces-iPhone-5” which makes it clear that the new device will be called iPhone 5. This is the second indication and with a stronger proof. The first was when Apple released the press invite, a poster which displayed a large “5” in the shadow of the number “12”.

If you search “iPhone LTE” on the Web site, another dead link can be seen that displays a page with a title regarding LTE (Long Term Evolution). LTE is actually a mobile communication standard for high speed data connectivity such as 4G. iPhone 5 is expected to support LTE. This news indicates that some announcement related to the LTE integration in the new device will be made too.

It seems that Apple will be announcing one more device at the upcoming event. If the words “new iPod touch” are typed for searching the company’s Web site, one can see another dead link listed in the search results. By observing the headers of the removed page, one can make out that a new iPod Touch may be declared at today’s event. “iPod Nano” is also expected to be released today together with iPhone 5.
If you think that its getting too much, then be aware that one more thing is set to be revealed. Searching the Web site for “unveils-new-iTunes”, the results indicate that Apple is all set to launch new iTunes software after the today’s presentation.
